Shore® Instruments Durometers are designed to determine the indentation hardness of materials ranging from cellular products to rigid plastics. These advanced and high-performance durometers are ideal for hardness testing of elastomers and plastics. Shore durometers conform to all applicable ASTM standards, are easy to use, and are affordably priced.
Shore Instruments Analog Durometers are handheld hardness testers specifically designed for rubber and other elastomeric materials. The testers have a calibrated spring that generates a known force on the indenter. The analog durometer measures hardness by determining the depth of penetration of the indenter into the material under test and displays the hardness measurement on an analog scale.

Micro O-Rings Type M Durometers produce accurate, repeatable hardness readings on soft elastomers that are too thin or too irregular in shape for measurement with a standard durometer. Type M Durometers are used on specimens with cross sections that range from 1.25 - 7 mm thick (0.05 - 0.275 in).
