High Temperature Pneumatic Grips
Available in 2 kN and 10 kN Force Capacities
Instron’s 2 kN and 10 kN High Temperature Pneumatic Grips provide the ability to perform tests in non-ambient environments with a temperature chamber.
The grips are equipped with integrated pull-rods in order to properly fit in the chamber while allowing maximum specimen elongation and grip travel within the chamber. This integrated pull rod design means that no additional pull rods are required.
With a temperature range of -70°C to 350°C, these grips can test many types of specimens at both elevated and subambient temperatures. Jaw faces, jaw face shields, specimen holders, specimen alignment devices, and pneumatic control footswitches are shared with Instron’s ambient rated pneumatic grips (2712-04x Series). The jaw face opening can be adjusted with thumb screws to accommodate specimens of varying thicknesses.
